Before the 1st day

  1. All students should have been called three times, once by each of the following people:
    1. Priesthood Leader (bishop)
    2. Class Officer
    3. teacher
  2. Get the room ready
  3. Moses and Abraham are the first three weeks we don�t get into Genesis until fourth week
  4. Overview / Goals for the year ( your philosophy of teaching)
  5. Have you prepared your heart? Ezra 7:10

1st Day

  1. Greet every student personally! Even if they are late.
  2. Have a greeting by a Priesthood leader.
  3. Minimal (no) paperwork.
  4. A slam dunk lesson tied to the Old Testament
  5. Bear testimony (student testimony?)
  6. Are you missing anyone?

2nd Day

  1. Greet every student personally by name.
  2. Why we sing hymns read 1st page of hymnal 1st Presidency message.
  3. Introductions:
  4. Mark story in old testament your favorite old testament story

3rd Day

  1. Greet all
  2. Devotional by students Good singing
  3. First video Introduction time capsule
  4. Have photo 81/2 by 11 up (of group shot of students)

4th Day Blow Shofar

  1. Devotional Day students identify good singing
  2. Plan of Salvation 3 choices of lessons
  3. Visuals bulletin board leave up

5th Day

  1. Class president conducts Introduce devotional chairman
  2. Review Plan of Salvation
  3. Mark neat verse in Old Testament
  4. Bear testimony

6th Day

  1. Rules of Seminary, Roles of students, teacher, food, drink and hat policy
  2. Scripture Study helps
  3. Who have we missed?
